I just finished a course that used this book and I was so disgusted with the book that I felt a review was necessary. It seems that this book was written for people who already have a background in computer algorithms.

Although the author does a good job at explaining arithmetic in the areas of RNS and SD arithmetic, the other topics are done very superficially. The book is a good reference, but you can find better books on understanding computer arithmetic.

I think 2 stars rating for this book are more than it deserves.I've bought many technical books and learned them on my own but I've never seen a book that is so bad.
