This remains one of my favorite stage adaptations of literature ever produced. Walsh's structure is truly amazing, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats.

This is an incredible adaptation of the novel and a strong example of how to maintain the essence of a novel but make it theatrical. Fans of the book would find this play a great read and hopefully more people will use this adaptation to mount this great classic on more stages all over the world.

I was fortunate enough to see the debut of this script at its inagural performance at Lifeline Theater in Chciago. Fast paced, true to the source material and rich in language, Walsh's adaptation is a wonderful reworking of the book which allows it to truly shine on the stage.
