This is an enjoyable, refreshing book, with good doses of humor. I pick it up and read for a short time, and feel refreshed.

Most of the folk living along the north coast of Washington's Olympic Peninsula know of Dr. Jim Fisher, a soft-spoken writer and teacher possessed of gentle wit and a prose style reminiscent of Mark Twain, Kurt Vonnegut, and Garrison Keillor.

This is one of the best books I've read this year, maybe ever, even if I do say so myself. The stories are witty and humorous, each with a solid lesson.
