It may sound like a fairy tale, being born as son of the murdered JFK, the most 'regal' US President ever, but for John 'John-John' Kennedy, it's a burden.

When he becomes an Assistant D.

, the press is all over him, flunking one exam gets smeared all over the national press, wherever he goes people point at him, recognizing face and/or name, but hardly notice what he actually does.

His mediatic mother Jacqueline Kennedy-Onassis pushes him, stifles him, forbids him to become an actor or won't hear of him dating an actress, then dies herself.

Finally the legendary Kennedy curse, which never skipped a generation, chooses him to be the victim of an airplane accident.

I'm surprised at the positive reviews of this film, I thought it was awful! Very poor production values and bad voice dubbing (is it just me, or does anyone else think Jacqueline Bisset was re-voiced by a different actor?

While I thought this was a good film about JFK Jr it was a little hard to follow the timeline. It jumped around quite a bit without ever mentioning what year they were in.

This made for TV movie factually stays true to form, but gives way in the acting and presentation department. It was a mix of biographical acting and silly dramatic comments by people who knew or wanted to know the protagonists.
