Nicola Karen Leach was born in Worcestershire.

Her father raced Motorcycle's professionally and her mother is a Microbiologist.

She trained as a dancer and moved to London at the age of 18.

She was approached in the street by Coca Cola UK to star in a TV commercial to introduce a new drink called Sprite.

Nicola went on to star in TV commercials for Ford Cars, Rimmel, L'Oreal, Schwartzkopt, Pantene, Oil Of Olay, Sunkisk, Elizabeth Shaw Chocolates etc.

She moved to Australia with her Australian boyfriend and landed a regular role on the TV series _"Neighbours".

She has two daughters, Freya born January 2005 and Nova born July 2007 with her third child a son named Archie with LA based UK DJ Mark Tabberner born July 26th 2010.

Once ran a 10K race in Scotland to raise money for The Leukemia Research Foundation UK whilst 6 weeks pregnant. She did not realize she was pregnant until the following week.
Second daughter Nova, with actor Jason Barry, was born July 27th 2007.

Her daughter Freya Barry, aged 2 years, starred in her first Feature Film in 2008 called For Christs Sake.
Worked as a Volunteer for The Born Free Foundation, The Blue Cross and the Rspca for the past 10 years and has adopted two of her dogs from shelters.
Adopted a Palamino Pony named "Golden One" as a child which she kept on a neighbors farm walking a mile a day to ride and care for it.

Is the only British Actress to have appeared on all three covers of Loaded Magazine, FHM Magazine and Sky Magazine all in one year, 1998.
